Robin's newest product, Teaching the Research Paper is ready for purchase!

If you've used or heard about Teaching the Essay, this new research paper unit is along the same lines.  Long in development in Robin's classroom, this step-by-step unit will guide you in teaching your students to write an annotated research paper.  There is a packet of materials and an accompanying audio CD. 

This month-long unit takes you and your student through the many steps of writing a research paper: choosing a topic, brainstorming your initial "plan of attack" for research, researching and organizing your notes and sources, forming a working outline and formal outline, including MLA parenthetical citations and a Works Cited page, writing the rough draft, and, of course, the final draft!  What's more, there are hands-on activities for learning some of these steps and evaluation rubrics to guide your student every step of the way!
